If we were having coffee in Costa
If we were having coffee… Well hello there, it’s been a while. I’ve just been to Costa coffee shop so what would you like? I had boring water as I had to have a scan today. My daughter had some Coke and some shortbread. This costa coffee is actually in the hospital, and I love it, because while you’re in there, you forget you’re in a hospital. There are usually people in there with drips etc, but I just tell myself they REALLY love coffee and have chosen the IV option. I get the results of my scan next week. I’ve been having some worrying symptoms so I hope it has gone well.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that my daughter was off school this week so we’ve had a pretty fun week. On Monday, we went out for a quick walk to catch some new Pokemon. My daughter now has Pokemon Go too. I caught quite a few of the new ones, and it was nice to pop out for a quick walk even though I was in a lot of pain. I actually now live somewhere where I can walk around where I live and it’s not dangerous and we don’t bump into kids doing drugs like where I used to live.

My Daughter Pokemon Go hunting.
If we were having coffee I’d say that on Tuesday, the LootCrate box showed up and it was so great, that I’m adding it to this blog post. I’ve had a LootCrate subscription for a long time. A special friend bought me a three month subscription and I didn’t want to end it. It’s not like I drink or go out so I allow myself the box of awesome every month.

February LootCrate.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that on Tuesday, I also finished my Andromeda Initiative Mass Effect bracelet and I am so so happy with it.

Andromeda Initiative Bracelet I made
I posted it on Twitter and Mass Effect really liked it too and I was a happy little fan girl for the rest of the day!
As I’m talking about my bracelets you might like to see my post from earlier in the week about the Friendship Bracelets I’ve already made this year.
Also I added a page of all my bracelets to my blog, if you want to check those out. It’s every bracelet I’ve ever made, with the exception of the ones I’ve just done. I might have left a couple of them out accidentally, I’ve made so many and my photo album has over 3,600 photos in it and they are not organised at all so it was pretty difficult.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you that on Wednesday we went to Cardiff so my daughter could spend her birthday money.
She bought some Lego, and two new little pig cuddly toys. One of them moves and oinks, and it’s pretty adorable. His name is Sir Oinks-a-lot, and the other pig is called Pipsqueak, it’s actually from the film Moana but we haven’t even seen it yet. My daughter just loves pigs so much that her eyes lit up as soon as we passed the Disney store. She hasn’t wanted to go in there for so long so it was cute to watch her be all excited in there.
We had a good day, and ordered pizza when we got home as I was so exhausted and in pain that I didn’t have the energy or the ability to cook. It was lovely and we both enjoyed it. It was like a second, well we did actually have a second so, a third birthday for my daughter.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you that on Thursday we didn’t do anything, I was too exhausted from the busy week and needed a day off to do nothing. We just watched Netflix etc and chilled out.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you that on Friday we went to town and had lunch together and it was really great. My daughter is the cutest sweetest human.
I bought myself a new coat a couple of weeks ago, it’s a gilet, and she liked it so much she asked if we could go to the shop where I got it from. She found one she really loved but said, “I really love this but I don’t have enough money”, I’ve always bought her clothes rather than her spending her money on them. I’d rather she spend her money on fun things until she starts earning money of her own. So I said, “I’ll buy it for you, I’m not going to make you pay for a coat you need”, and she was so happy, she put it on as soon as she got out of the store and wore it all the way around town, and she was just so unbelievably happy. It made me happy that she was so happy. She’s always so so grateful for things, that it makes me want to buy her everything. I can’t because I’m poor, haha, but still. How adorable.
Which leaves us with today.
After the scan, we went to Hobbycraft and KFC, so no cooking again today! We don’t normally eat fast food twice a week, but oh well.
I am currently making a NASA bracelet, and ran out of blue so I had to go and get more blue.
I ended up buying blue, some unicorn coloured thread (on the left by the blue), and a whole box of new thread.
It is my favourite thread though and I cannot find it anywhere online.
So all in all, it was a pretty busy and fun week, so thought it would be a great return to the coffee share.
How was your week?
Lots of Love xxx

It sounds like a very full week! The Lootcrate looks like a blast, though I have to admit that it defiantly appeals to the nerdy side 😉 All of your bracelet are great, and it’s very cool that Mass Effect tweeted back with the picture. I hope the scan results go well!

Lootcrate is really fun. It’s like Christmas when it comes, we both get excited opening it. The Lego dimensions thing was so great as, he was one of the characters we don’t have. 🙂
Thank you Trent 🙂

What a great week! I love your bracelets, are they time consuming to make? Will be wishing you the best on your scan results.. I’m intrigued by LootCrate, however, I’m kind of in the decluttering/minimalizing mode.. Hmm, will have to check them out. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, my bracelets take about 3-4 days to make, quite a few hours a day. Some of the simpler patterns with less colours are quicker, the astronaut one took me the longest.
I know, I’d love to be a minimalist but I do love my nerdy/geeky things. It makes my house feel more like mine. I’ve cut down on so much though as I moved house in September and my new place is slightly bigger so I’ve been enjoying filling my new place with slightly a bit more stuff. I had a really small place before so I had to be minimalist. My walls are still bare I need to get/make some more art for them. 🙂
Thank you so much, and thanks for the comment 🙂 x

What a wonderful week. Like Robin, I so hope the scan reveals nothing awful but does show something fixable! Pain is not fun to live with.
Your bracelets are fabulous! I’m in awe…
